The need became impossible to ignore.
For years, I managed sensitive, dry skin and tried to make peace with products that only helped for a moment. Some felt too heavy. Some did too little. Some made daily care feel like compromise.
The more I searched, the more I realized I was not only looking for another product. I was looking for skincare that understood what comfort, elegance, and confidence could mean together. That frustration became curiosity. Curiosity became product development. Eventually, it became Vyalure.

A personal search became a standard.
From need to intention
Once the work began, the question changed. It was no longer only about what could help my skin feel better in the moment. It became about what makes a product worthy of being trusted every day.
Texture had to feel intentional. Each material had to earn its place. The finished product had to feel consistent, comfortable, and refined — without feeling heavy, harsh, or medicinal.
The missing piece was not only performance. It was trust you could feel.
The visible change mattered. The deeper shift was learning to move through the day with more confidence.
That realization became part of Vyalure’s purpose: skincare should support more than the surface. It should help people feel comfortable, present, and confident in their own skin.
Confidence became the purpose.
At first, the goal was simple: make my skin feel better. But the more I used the formulas I was developing, the more I realized the change was not only physical. My skin felt more comfortable. My reflection felt less like something to correct. The confidence I had been trying to rebuild started to return.
That changed the purpose of Vyalure. It could not be skincare that only looked beautiful on a shelf. It had to be care that helped people feel more at ease in their skin, more connected to themselves, and more confident moving through the day.

Vyalure began with my personal need for skincare that felt more considered, more comfortable, and more connected to confidence. That beginning shaped the discipline behind the brand.
Today, Vyalure is strengthened by Bryan Santos, my partner and Vyalure’s Chief Operating Officer. Bryan brings focus, perspective, and operational care to the company’s future, helping turn the original vision into a stronger customer experience.
Together, we continue building Vyalure with the same belief that started it: skincare should feel refined, perform with purpose, and help people feel more confident in their own skin.

As a proud Puerto Rican and LGBTQIA+ founder, I know what it means to move through a world that was not always designed with you in mind. I know the weight of being placed in a box you did not choose. I know what it feels like to be spoken past instead of spoken to.
That lived experience shaped Vyalure.
